I first connected with the El-Shaddai Hope Centre for Orphans during a visit to Kenya in 2007. Run by a Kenyan pastor and his wife, El-Shaddai is one of the best examples I have found of an orphanage where the children feel like they have parents. I have supported them in the past and started the process toward raising regular funding to help them provide for the many children under their care. If you are interested in sponsoring one of the children at the El-Shaddai Hope Centre for Orphans or supporting their efforts in another way, please contact me and I would be happy to help connect you.
Called to the Children
Stephen & Beatrice Njau are a Kenyan couple who sensed a call from God to take orphaned children into their home. Stephen left his job as a pastor as the number of children they cared for continued to climb. From my first visit with this lovely couple I could sense that they treated the children as though they were their own, raising them right alongside their biological children.
Joyce & Miriam
Joyce and Miriam are two of the beautiful children being cared for at El-Shaddai Hope Centre for Orphans. The joy I have seen in the children during my three visits and the affection that they share for Stephen & Beatrice are witnesses to the loving care they have received.
